La sicurezza e i vostri denti

Le lesioni ai denti spesso possono essere prevenute, soprattutto se si è coscienti dei pericoli. A tal fine riportiamo di seguito una tabella. Scegliete le situazioni potenzialmente pericolose.

Spintonare/spingere
  • Incoraggiate i bambini a essere gentili gli uni con gli altri e ricordategli con gentilezza di                        aspettare sempre il proprio turno.
 
Cadere sulle scale
  • Assicuratevi di non mettere fretta ai bambini
  • Ricordate ai bambini di usare i corrimano
 
Cadere dalla bici o dalle strutture al parco giochi
  • Ripassate le regole di sicurezza
  • Insegnate un uso sicuro
  • Assicuratevi che le attrezzature siano adeguate all'età del bambino e in buono stato
 
Correre con oggetti in bocca
  • Compilate un elenco degli unici oggetti che vanno messi in bocca e discutetene insieme
  • Appendente l'elenco in modo che il bambino possa leggerlo
 
Cadere/inciampare
  • Ricordate ai bambini di camminare invece di correre
  • Mettete via i giochi e ripulite sostanze e liquidi su cui si può scivolare
 
Incidenti di auto (frenate improvvise)
  • Indossate sempre la cintura di sicurezza
  • Organizzate un gioco di ruolo
 
Mordere oggetti duri
  • Compilate insieme un elenco di tutto ciò che non va morso
  • Incoraggiate i bambini ad inserire oggetti nell'elenco
 
 

 

Lo sapevate?

  • Gli incisivi superiori sono i denti più coinvolti in incidenti
  • In genere i denti e le gengive nella parte posteriore della bocca subiscono lesioni provocate dalla masticazione di matite e ghiaccio o schiacciando il guscio delle noci
